COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AT INTERVIEW / ONLINE SURVEYS

Participation in all research projects is voluntary and respondents may opt out of any research project, at any time. In addition, consent will be obtained prior to the collection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that will be recorded. All PII obtained shall be treated confidentially, shall be used for research purposes only and shall not be disclosed to any person not employed by com.X, except with consent, as required by law or by court order. All PII obtained shall not be disclosed to any client other than for lawful research purposes. To this purpuse, in general, clients will not receive (a) the last name or telephone number of any recruited Respondent for any research study; (b) any original screeners or sign-out sheets containing any last names or telephone numbers. Further, clients are bound by com.X’s Privacy Policy and any such information shared with clients will be used for marketing research and opinion research purposes only.

PRIVACY POLICY COM.X INSTITUT

The collection, processing and use of personal data by com.X is carried out according to the legal provisions of data protection and the common guidelines of the Working Group of German Market and Social Research Institutes (ADM), the Association of Social Science Institutes (ASI) and the Professional Association German market and social researcher (BVM).

THISE WE PROMISE TO YOU:

Notification: When collecting your PII, we will promptly and appropriately inform you about any personally identifiable information we collect, how we use it, and to what kind of third parties we will make this data available.

Options: We offer you options about how we should use your PII and how we should make it available to third parties and we will respect your decision. When registering, you may be asked to provide your contact details and demographic information as well as information on topics and content relevant to the survey. In our interviews and online surveys, you can always give additional particulars.

Access: We will provide ways for you to access your personal information, as required by law, so you can correct inaccuracies.

Security: We will take appropriate physical, technical, and organizational measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

Enforcement: We will regularly review how we’re meeting these privacy promises, and we’ll provide an independent way to resolve complaints about our privacy practices.

Liability: In some circumstances we may share PII with third party service providers, with whom we have contractually agreed to perform services on our behalf. It is constituent to our third party contracts that personal data disclosed to third parties may only be used for limited and well-defined purposes that are in accordance with your consent. Furthermore, the third party concerned must guarantee the same level of data protection as com.X. In the case of subcontracting, com.X remains responsible for complying with the provisions of the GDPR and other data protection regulations.

Data Integrity and Limitations. We will collect only as much personal information as we need for specific, identified purposes, and we won’t use it for other purposes without obtaining your consent. We will take appropriate steps to make sure the personal information in our records is accurate.

Conciliation. We will address any disagreements regarding potential misuse of data, and have policies & procedures in place to investigate and resolve disputes.

USER RIGHTS

Survey participants have the right to revoke their consent at any time without providing a justification. Furthermore, collected data can be corrected, deleted or limited as required. You can request detailed information on the scope of our data collection at the address below. Data transfer can be requested if you should wish to transfer your data to a third party.
